Abdelmoumen Ould Kaddour is the Charmain of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer of SONATRACH, the Algeria National Oil Company. He was appointed to this position in March 2017.
An ardent believer in human capital development, Mr. Ould Kaddour founded in 1992, Condor Engineering, an engineering company operating in Oil & Gas in Algeria. He was appointed CEO of the company.
Condor Engineering became Brown & Root – Condor (B&R-C) as a result of a joint venture between Sonatrach and Brown & Root Ltd in 1994. Mr. Ould Kaddour continued leading the JV as Charmain and CEO from 1994 to 2007. In 2002, B&R-C became the sixth largest company in Algeria.
From 2007 to 2017, he devoted himself to management, education, and international consulting activities in the Oil & Gas industry.
Prior to Condor Engineering, Mr. Ould Kaddour headed the Research Center for Materials Development from 1982 to 1992 where he participated actively in the development of the strategy of research in the Solar and Nuclear Energy in Algeria.
Mr. Ould Kaddour holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Polytechnic School in Algiers, a higher degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA.
In 2000, Mr. Ould Kaddour obtained the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program’s “Leading Professional Service Firms” certification.
